Land Acknowledgement

I acknowledge that I live, work, and campaign on the traditional territory of the Attawandaron, Anishinaabeg, and Haudenosaunee Peoples. We are all Treaty people and have a shared responsibility to move forward in truth and reconciliation.

As a candidate seeking to represent this region, I believe I must raise Indigenous voices and recognize colonial systems. I acknowledge that I am still learning how to be a responsible treaty partner, and am making a personal commitment to ongoing learning and listening to Indigenous perspectives. I make this statement as an active promise to turn awareness into meaningful respect and action.
